Ken Levey, Managing Attorney at Forge Law

Managing Attorney

Ken Levey

Founder & Managing Attorney

Ken Levey grew up outside of Boston and knew as early as junior high that he wanted to be an attorney. Detail-oriented by nature, he has always believed that how law is practiced matters just as much as the outcome. During law school, that conviction led him to establish his own practice.

Ken has served Washington families in family law since 1993. Over three decades of practice taught him what works, what doesn’t, and where the traditional model fails the people it’s supposed to serve.

Every client deserves clear answers, consistent communication, and a team that treats their case like it matters — because it does.

Forge Law is the firm he built in response, designed from the ground up for how families actually live, communicate, and access support today. No office visits required. No barriers between clients and their team. Just accessible, human-centered representation that fits real life.

Ken is passionate about his role as founder of Forge Law because it allows him to shape a client-centered firm where communication is consistent, expectations are clear, and every client is treated with respect. He takes pride in creating systems and standards that support both clients and the team, especially during what is often one of the most stressful periods in a family’s life.

That approach reflects Ken’s long-held belief that clients should understand not only what is happening in their case, but also why it matters and what comes next.

Ken began his undergraduate studies at Brandeis University, moved to Seattle in 1980, and in 1983 completed his degree in comparative religions at the University of Washington in Seattle. He earned his J.D. from the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1991, now Seattle University School of Law.
